Journey Sunday School Class

The Journey Class is for those who want to get to know their Bible better and who are still asking questions. We compare different versions of the Bible, exploring the history of how the various books of the Bible came to be included, while others were not. We explore the times and the people who wrote the books of the Bible, comparing various books that discuss different accounts of the same events. We ask questions and compare each other’s views and interpretations of passages. Our exploration is intended to strengthen our faith through a better understanding of the scriptures. 

We base our studies on the biblical curiosities of the class, always focusing on reading from our Bibles and discussing the Bible’s meaning within an historical context and its meaning in our lives today.

We are quite literally on a journey to better understand our faith by reading scripture, interpreting it ourselves, and with the help of others, understanding just how timeless the Bible is.
