St. Andrew's Work Team
To Return
to Louisiana for
More Hurricane
Relief Work! St. Andrew's will
again be sending a work team to Lake Charles,
Louisiana as a part of the relief effort of the
United Methodist Church's connection on
February 6th - 10th. Working
with the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United
Methodist Church's Storm Recovery Center, St.
Andrew's will be helping to restore some homes in
the Lake Charles area damaged by Hurricanes Katrina
and Rita.
Volunteers needed include those who have some
building and construction skills as well as those
who can help in other areas. Primary work to
be done will include clean-up, roofing, minor demolition, sheetrock,
painting and flooring. "Go-fers" (drivers who can
retrieve materials) will also be needed, as well as
anyone who is interested in helping out.

possible, in order to assure adequate housing
arrangements in Lake Charles.
