Youth Programming
Sunday:
· Sunday School
o Youth in the “blue” Youth Room
· Children’s Church –during the 10:50 service
o Godly Play in the
· Family Fun Lunch- first Sunday immediately following the 10:50 service
o A time for food and fellowship with the church family
· K.F.C.- second Sunday
o 4 years -12th grade
· Movie Night-third Sunday
o Come watch a movie and see how it can be connected to God. For 3rd grade and up in the youth room
· Youth Funday
o A fun event for 6th -12th grade students
Sunday Funday is a time or 6th-12th graders to come together and have fun. Each month, we will meet in the parking lot behind the Activity Center and leave from there. The activities chosen are meant to be fun while we "wonder where is God in all of this".
Youth Movie Night. During Youth Movie Night, 6th-12th grade students are welcome to join us for dinner and a movie in the Youth Room. The movie will be chosen for their age. While watching the movie, the youth will connect the movie to their life and God.
Youth Spot Sunday School. Youth Sunday School is geared for middle school and high school students. We have lesson that apply to their everyday lives. The goal of this class is to help our students grow and show others how to be Christians. This class meets weekly in the Youth Room at 9:40 on Sunday mornings.
Confirmation is meant for anyone who would like to grow in their faith and learn what it means to be a United Methodist. This is a 40-week course taught on Wednesday nights. Call to see when the next class begins.
Mission work, the second Sunday of each month, is when the Youth, along with the Children, will complete some type of mission work. This work will begin during the 10:50 a.m. service and often continues after church that day.
