GLORIFY: Children in Worship Worship is God-centered praise and adoration. As you look around the sanctuary at St. Andrew’s Church, you will see that children are a part of our worshipping community. Their presence here grows out the biblical tradition and conviction that children are members of the community of God’s People. Inclusion in the church’s worship service – worshipping with their families Sunday after Sunday – is one way children learn what it means to walk as followers of Jesus. All children of all ages are invited and welcome to our worship services. We also provide nursery & child care during both worship services for children 5yrs. and under.
GROW: Children Growing in Their Faith Christian Education classes are offered for adults and children from 10:00-10:45am on Sundays. We want to come alongside our families to intentionally make disciples of Christ. God has chosen to work through the institution of families as a primary means by which the treasure of the gospel is passed on. We want to help your children learn about Christ, His redeeming love, and our great need for him in our lives as Savior and Lord. We want our children to know about God, so they can know and love God deeply.
GO: Children Serving Others as the hands and feet of Jesus There is no better way to learn to share with others in need – than to get to GO and be the hands and feet of Jesus. St. Andrew’s Church has always had a strong outreach ministry. We want our children to begin to learn different ways to give of themselves in helping others. One tangible way is during the worship services, our children are encouraged to bring a canned good from home and bring it to the altar as their offering. This food is then taken to one of the local missions we support called Agape Missions. We offer several opportunities during the year for children and their families to participate in outreach ministries.
