Guiding Principles for 2008
St. Andrew’s UMC
St. Andrew's United Methodist Church has set forth
the
following guiding principles to enable and inform
ministry for the coming year:
1.
To continue to develop meaningful opportunities to
know and experience God through Jesus Christ for all
ages with a special emphasis on young adults and
families with young children.
2.
To provide opportunities for each member to grow as
a faithful steward as evidenced by our prayers, our
presence, our gifts, and our service.
3.
To continue to offer opportunities for members to be
in witness and mission in the community and world.
4.
To continue to support the “Renewing the Vision”
campaign to ensure that our facilities are
maintained, safe and enjoyable for all.
5.
To enhance communication and understanding,
internally and externally, in order to improve
effectiveness of our various ministries and
outreach.
6.
To seek out opportunities to build bridges across
groups so that we support and enhance each other and
share the gospel. |
